Proposed Collector to Canberra School Bus Run
Hi Everyone,
On behalf of the Collector Community Association, I am currently coordinating a possible school bus run for Collector Canberra.
If you are interested in this service, please email, phone or text with the required details listed below.
Please ensure you forward all the listed information in your response (required by bus company):
- Name of Child/Adult (please specify which)
- Address
- Canberra/Queanbeyan school they will attend
- Age of child
- Years of service required 2010, 2011, 2012
- Best contact number for parent/carer of school children
The bus company is interested in possible passenger numbers for the years 2010, 2011 and 2012.
On a similar note, did you know that adults can catch school buses if needed?
If you think you would use the school bus service (school days and times) you are welcome to express interest as well.
I may also be forwarding your information to the Shadow Minister for Transport NSW, as they are apparently taking submissions regarding public transport in regional rural areas, this may help to get a public bus service to Goulburn and/or Canberra.
We currently have 5 confirmed children and some adult and pensioners expressed interest. We only need a few more (even in the out years) to make a good case.
